"Film Scores Are the Future of Classical Music" Concert

Concert by Simfònics. Simfònics is an inclusive orchestral academy for all ages and levels, with its own teaching method placing collective music-making at the centre. Thanks to collaboration between l'Associació Cultural Simfònics BCN and El Sortidor, l'Orquestra Clàssica invites you to a unique evening featuring film scores that have marked generations. Our proposition is clear: three hundred years from now, this music will be remembered as classical, just as we remember the great masters of the past today. Film scores are modern opera: narrative, emotion and orchestra, but with cinema screens instead of a curtain. Come and discover why film music is the great classical music of the future.
