Come and lose your fear of your sewing machine in a friendly, cooperative space for sharing what we know. This workshop offers a first hands-on, guided introduction to using a sewing machine, designed especially for people who have never used one or who feel very unsure about getting started. In the second session we will make a snack bag to put into practice what was learned on the first day. Attendance at both sessions is compulsory. What to bring: an old shirt or a pair of trousers you no longer wear, preferably in non-stretch fabric. A pair of old shoelaces. Led by Amigues de l'Invisible, volunteers from the textile space L'In[VISIBLE]. Prior registration required.
