'Foley: Sounds and Cinema' Workshop

In films we hear the characters' voices and the soundtrack, but also many invisible yet essential sounds: a horse's gallop, the characters' footsteps, a door closing, someone scratching their head, brushing off their clothes or bumping into something… Recording all these sounds is the job of Foley artists, who, in a recording studio, come up with ways to make the sounds as realistic as possible. Activity recommended for families with children aged 6 and up.
