'Front-line Journalism: A Conversation with Mònica Bernabé' Talk

What does it mean to report from the centre of a conflict? What is it like to live the reality of a country marked by decades of war and profound transformation? Journalist Mònica Bernabé will share her experience as a correspondent and international reporter, particularly in Afghanistan, where she lived for years and documented the country's political, social and human reality at close quarters. In an interview format, Laura Tapiolas will talk with Mònica Bernabé to reflect on international conflicts, the role of journalism on the ground and today's challenges for information in a complex global context. With Mònica Bernabé, journalist specialising in Afghanistan and international reporter, and Laura Tapiolas, freelance journalist and winner of the Premi CRIT 2026 in the Information and Current Affairs category.
