'Gender-Based Violence from an Intersectional Perspective' Conference *NEW*

Led by Florencia Brizuela González, PhD in Law and Political Science and a member of feminist and anti-racist collectives in Barcelona. What is intersectionality and what does it contribute to struggles against gender-based violence? How can we apply it? Drawing on feminist, anti-racist and decolonial thinkers, we will reflect on how colonialism, racism and other structures of inequality shape the experiences of women and dissident identities. We will explore how to incorporate an intersectional perspective to understand and confront gender-based violence from an anti-racist standpoint.
