'Gender Socialisation: Invisible Structural Violence' Conference *NEW*

Led by Victoria Compañ Felipe, psychologist specialising in gender-related distress and co-director of the UB postgraduate course «Feminisme i Psicoteràpia». We live in societies where equality between men and women is a value recognised by law. Yet inequality persists in everyday life: in care work, the pay gap, medical referrals and even the risk of being killed by a partner. We will reflect on how, in formally egalitarian societies, gender socialisation perpetuates inequality and legitimises violence.
