'Getting to Know Jane Austen: When Pleasure Becomes a Novel' Cultural Workshop

Teacher: Montserrat Roquet. We will delve into the life and work of one of the most beloved writers in English literature. We will discuss her novels, her subtle humour and her critical view of the society of her time, and explore why, more than two centuries later, we still enjoy her stories and the many adaptations they have inspired. We will also address an intriguing question: can you be a Jane Austen fan and a feminist at the same time?
