Gonzalo Hermida is a singer, songwriter and producer born in Cádiz on 26 June 1995. He began his career writing songs for artists such as Pastora Soler, Malú, India Martínez, Sergio Dalma and Prince Royce, becoming one of the leading songwriters in contemporary Spanish pop. He later launched his career as a performer with the albums Ignífugo and La Ciudad Intermitente. The latter includes standout tracks such as "La Promesa", the soundtrack to TVE's ratings-leading series, and "Quien lo diría", with which he took part in Benidorm Fest. He has received the Cadena Dial New Artist award and was nominated for Spain's 2024 Music Academy Awards. After touring Spain and Latin America and appearing on television with Coti in Dúos Increíbles, he is currently presenting his third album, Bandera Libertad, consolidating his artistic profile.
