The most-watched flamenco show in Barcelona's history. Gran Gala Flamenco offers audiences a complete journey into the world of flamenco, where you will find everything you could imagine about this art: castanets, fans, beautiful and sensual dresses and original music. All of this is why it has run uninterrupted for 18 years. Unlike the tablaos, at our shows the audience witnesses choreographies created by acclaimed dance companies from Catalonia and Spain. A unique show, a succession of sensations arising from the rhythms that define the art of flamenco, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The audience will travel through the different flamenco “palos” (rhythmic patterns) such as the festive, joyful “bulería”, the solemn, intense “soleá”, the lively, easy-going “alegría”, the “tango”, the “guajira” and the “farruca”. Showcasing the new generation of Catalan artists, Gran Gala Flamenco offers the perfect union of heart and soul, music and dance, passion and rhythm.
