Guided Family Visit 'Anselm Kiefer: Capsules of Art and Secrets'
24 October 2026 – 23 January 2027 · 10:30
Sala d'Exposicions, la Dreta de l'Eixample, Eixample
La Pedrera welcomes families once again to foster children's creativity. This time we will explore the work of Anselm Kiefer, one of today's most prominent and distinctive artists. During the guided visit to the exhibition we will discover the artist's rich imagery — populated by mythological figures, poetry and mystery — and enter a creative universe that, through unusual materials in display cases as well as paintings, sculptures and photography, speaks of collective consciousness with a clear message of regeneration and hope. Then, in the manner of Anselm Kiefer, we will create a small display case expressing our own experiences and personality. We can finish by going up to the roof terrace to see how Gaudí also incorporated a wide range of materials in his work.
