'Handel in London through Ten Operas' Cultural Workshop *NEW*

Teacher: Meritxell Tena. Through ten key operas, we will journey through Handel's life and work during his London period, a crucial time in the consolidation of Italian opera in England. We will focus on his most representative operas, analysing their musical and formal characteristics and exploring the composer's expressive resources and innovations. A proposal for gaining an in-depth understanding of Handel's contribution to the development of opera.
