HOP Festival is an annual international festival devoted to street and underground dance and contemporary stage creation, held in Barcelona between September and December. With an open, diverse outlook in dialogue with other disciplines, the festival hosts emerging and established artists from Catalonia, Spain and the international scene, fostering exchange, professionalisation and contemporary creation. HOP builds partnerships with festivals and institutions around the world and collaborates every two years with the Mercat de les Flors. Its programme combines shows, battles, jams, workshops and community activities, both in conventional venues and in urban settings, offering a lively, diverse experience that claims the street as a space for creation and resistance.
