'How to Read Art without Dying in the Attempt' Cultural Workshop

Teacher: Maria Vallverdú. What lies behind a look, a smile or a brushstroke? What story does each line, colour or gesture reveal? From ancient to contemporary art, we will approach the key concepts of the artwork: we will learn tools for observation and interpretation and build a critical gaze that will allow us to talk about art with confidence, while remaining open to being surprised by what each work wants to tell us. We will combine classroom work with outings to put what we have learned into practice in front of original works and in artistic spaces around the city.
