Show title: Eudaemonia. Rock. Barreiro-Portugal. The Portugal Alive programme continues to open BAM to sounds arriving from across the border and this time focuses on rock. Humana Taranja are a band from Barreiro ready to show Barcelona audiences an intense and luminous way of understanding rock. Their sound moves between melodic pop and emotional rock, with expansive soundscapes, raw emotion and expressive power that grows with every song. After making their live debut at the Barreiro Rocks festival in 2018, releasing the EP Quase Vivos in 2020 and presenting their first album, Zafira, in 2023, the group released Eudaemonia in 2024, their second full-length album, exploring the transition from adolescence to adulthood, a territory full of uncertainty, anger, frustration and the search for meaning. A vibrant, emotional and colourful evening.
