3 November 2026 – 29 November 2026
Diferents llocs de la ciutat
The IF Barcelona festival will hold its twelfth edition from 3 to 29 November, established as a leading event for visual, object and puppet theatre. With twelve years behind it, IF Barcelona reaffirms itself as one of the few platforms in Spain devoted to these stage languages. The project is structured around the festival and two initiatives with their own identity that broaden its reach: Teixidores, a space for artists to meet and reflect and the main driver of internationalisation, and Objectes Perduts, with a year-round programme combining performances, creation and mediation that keeps the activity going beyond the festival. The festival will present some thirty productions at 17 different cultural venues in Barcelona, Sabadell, l'Hospitalet, Santa Coloma, el Prat and Palau-solità i Plegamans. There will be shows, premieres, installations, residencies, workshops, labs and mediation projects with leading names such as Romeo Castellucci, Cia. L'Alinéa, Taller Placer, Alex Peña, David Ymbernon, Javiera Gazitua, the Canadian company SNAFU, AzkonaToloza and Jaume Clotet. Tickets are available on the festival website: https://ifbarcelona.cat/programacio/
