'Introduction to Ceramics' Workshop

Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde, la Dreta de l'Eixample, Eixample
We will create unique pieces using hand-building techniques such as pinching, slab building, coiling and moulding, and learn how to assemble and combine these techniques. We will decorate the pieces with slips and sgraffito, a colourful technique with many possibilities. We will fire and glaze them to give them a glossy finish and seal the decoration applied to each piece, producing functional ceramics. A maximum of 3 pieces may be made per student.
