'Introduction to Intaglio Printmaking (Etching and Sugar Aquatint)' Workshop

A ten-week course introducing two classic intaglio techniques: etching (drawing on a plate protected with varnish, then biting it with acid) and sugar aquatint (which allows direct brush drawing on the plate). Rembrandt was the great exponent of the first technique. A course designed to discover the possibilities of this centuries-old technique from scratch. Level: beginner. Teacher: Neus Colet.
