'Islandman' Concert

Show title: Islandman. Electroacoustic – Turkey. Islandman, the Turkish electroacoustic trio formed by Tolga Böyük, Eralp Güven and Erdem Başer, will bring to BAM a proposal that crosses borders and styles. Moll de la Fusta will host a concert combining soft electronic structures, dance beats, psychedelic guitars and rhythms with shamanic roots. Born from the musical imagination of Istanbul producer and musician Tolga Böyük, Islandman is also a fictional character: a sonic traveller who invents landscapes from a place that does not exist. The band has developed a distinctive language in which Turkish psychedelia enters into dialogue with music rooted in Africa and with a contemporary, electric outlook. Following their debut with the Music for Dreams label and albums such as Rest in Space, Kaybola and, in 2025, Island5, the group has performed at festivals including the Istanbul Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival and Boom Festival. In Barcelona, Islandman invites the audience to surrender to a vibrant, hypnotic and danceable ceremony.
