Sea breeze and acoustic folk: Jack Johnson returns to Barcelona With more than 25 million records sold and an unmistakable sound that captures the warmth of acoustic folk and the rhythm of the ocean, Jack Johnson will perform at the Poble Espanyol in a show marking his long-awaited return to Barcelona for the first time since 2014, as part of his new European tour SURFILMUSIC. The tour is linked to his new documentary, an intimate journey exploring his evolution from his beginnings as a surfer and filmmaker to becoming a global music figure. Built around what he loves most —the sea, film, good friends and community—, the show brings this philosophy to the stage to close the circle between screen and live performance, with a repertoire full of bright melodies and songs that have become timeless classics. Beyond his eight studio albums, Johnson is a pioneer of sustainability in the music industry. Through projects such as his social action network All At Once and foundations such as Kōkua Hawaiʻi and Johnson Ohana, he has channelled more than 40 million dollars into environmental and community education initiatives.
