"Jack Savoretti" Concert
13 April 2027 · 21:00
Sala Paral·lel 62, el Raval, Ciutat Vella
"I make music for love, there's no other reason." After more than twenty years of writing songs, Jack Savoretti still finds in music the way to explain who he is and where he comes from. On 13 April he returns to Barcelona to perform at Paral·lel 62. Born in London, Savoretti began his career playing in the pubs of the west of the city. Since then, he has turned his experiences and his roots into songs that move between pop, soul and Mediterranean melodies. Over nine albums, he has built his own universe and has shared the road with artists such as Miles Kane and KT Tunstall. One of the most remarkable moments of his career came with Touchy Situation, a song for which he set to music an unpublished lyric by Bob Dylan, and which appears on Singing to Strangers (2019), the album that took him to number one in the UK charts. With We Will Always Be the Way We Were, his latest album, Savoretti presents an intimate and reflective work about the passing of time, change and the road back home. All of it delivered with that rough, unmistakable voice that has become his personal hallmark.
