"Joan Chamorro presenta Pau Garcia, Lola Peñaranda i Clàudia Rostey" Concert

The Joan Chamorro Presenta collection, which began with what is now an iconic album by Andrea Motis, continues to grow and has become one of the most extensive record series in European jazz. It now comprises 25 albums, featuring names including, as well as Motis, Alba and Elsa Armengou, Èlia Bastida, Magalí Datzira, Eva Fernández, Joan Martí, Rita Payés and Joan Mar Sauqué, among many others. In this concert, included in the Retrat d'Artista devoted to the Sant Andreu Jazz Band in 2026, we will hear the three latest recordings, featuring pianist Pau Garcia, saxophonist and clarinettist Lola Peñaranda and trombonist and vocalist Clàudia Rostey. The evening, which promises to be intense, will also feature a special collaboration with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. It will be “a special concert on a very special night”, Joan Chamorro promises us, and —as we know well from the festival— he usually more than keeps his promises.
