"Kafka" Bridges between Cultures Concert with Ensemble Ars Vulgaris

Ars Vulgaris is an international collective of musicians based in Barcelona whose aim is to build bridges between cultures, periods and diverse musical styles. Its projects often arise from an inspiring question: where does music come from at its deepest impulse? From this idea, the group creates programmes connecting apparently distant traditions and revealing unexpected affinities. KAFKA emerges from this as a different impulse within the musical collective, ready to inhabit transformation. Made up of musicians from different geographical and cultural backgrounds, the project is born from a shared artistic search: rejecting the predictable and seeking an authentic voice. Inspired by the essence of the author who gives them their name, the group embraces music as a living “metamorphosis”, a tool for breaking with external expectations and freeing a sonic identity of its own. Kafka's proposal is a multicultural dialogue challenging borders and genre labels.
