Led by Katia Savant @katiayogabarcelona. Kanda means "navel point" in Sanskrit, the energetic centre from which all yoga postures arise. Kanda Yoga is a style combining postures (asanas) from Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. Meditation and relaxation are also fundamental parts of the practice. The aim is to improve physical well-being by accompanying stretches with mindful breathing, without forcing or overloading the body, using variations when necessary, while also reducing stress by releasing bodily and mental tension to support proper rest at night and develop concentration. Materials: comfortable clothing; bringing a mat and towel is recommended.
