Juan De Diego trumpet · Pau Domenech bass clarinet · David Parras tuba · Santi Colomer drums A recently formed quartet committed to the challenges of the times, La Banda del Poblenou grew out of the idea of a neighbourhood band: an ensemble that plays at parties, events and community gatherings. La Banda del Poblenou is a wind trio plus drums. Tuba, bass clarinet and trumpet mix brass and woodwind with the drums' rhythm. All the compositions are written by Juan De Diego. Brass band airs, Balkan music and street music, seasoned with contemporary music and improvisation.
