"La Salut Neighbourhood Festa Major"

The La Salut Festa Major returns with a programme full of popular culture, music, family activities and gathering spaces that will turn the neighbourhood into a large meeting point for residents. The celebration is possible thanks to the involvement of residents and organisations who, year after year, work to build an open, participatory festival rooted in the area. Beyond the festivities, the Festa Major aims to keep strengthening community ties and to foster spaces for connection, solidarity and mutual support. In that spirit, the neighbourhood will host events for all audiences over several days. Friday 4 September The festival opens at 17.30 with a large cercavila featuring batucadas, giants and neighbourhood groups, running along Rambla Mercedes and several streets of La Salut. At 18.30 the Festa Major opening address will be given by Teresa Roig, with simultaneous sign language interpretation. The day continues at 19.00 with a family music show by MusicActiva, designed to get young and old dancing.
