Lecocq. Indie-pop; La Bisbal de l'Empordà. Sucre. Is it indie-pop or is it chanson? You may ask yourself that when you hear the sound, with shades of electronica and neo-soul, of Enric Mont Lecocq's most personal musical project. He had already released Sous la Glace (2024) and the EP Volaille/Aviram (2025), but now he presents Sucre. It is a new work in which he sings in Catalan and French and explores bright, danceable sounds. Percussion drives warm guitars and powerful bass lines alongside synthesisers. The album includes collaborations with Roger Mas and French artist Moorea.
