For the third consecutive year, Fundació Arqueològica Clos – Museu Egipci de Barcelona and Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món (MuEC) are organising a lecture series that strengthens their collaboration and shared commitment to critical research and the creation and dissemination of knowledge. One Wednesday each month at 18:30, the MuEC's Montcada venue will host specialists from different disciplines who will explore travel as a key historical practice in the exchange of knowledge, construction of worldviews and formation of power relations and borders, from sacred itineraries and trade routes to scientific expeditions, cosmological cartographies and academic study journeys.
