'Life Drawing Practice. Body, Line and Observation' Workshop

A course for drawing the human body from direct observation, exploring different materials, techniques and ways of looking. Working from a live model, we will study gesture, figure construction, volume, light and composition, alternating quick exercises with more measured studies. Each session will introduce new challenges and working tools, from charcoal and red chalk to ink and watercolour, in order to broaden resources and discover a personal visual language. We will also explore specific areas such as hands, feet, the face and shadows. Aimed both at beginners and at those wishing to strengthen or deepen their artistic practice. An additional fee must be paid on the first day of class. Teacher: Anita Cortés.
