Luísa Sobral, one of the leading singer-songwriters from the new generation of Portuguese musicians, returns to Barcelona to present songs from her forthcoming album, Cartas de Desamor, from which the single Felicidade has already been released. With a captivating voice and lyrics full of sensitivity, she has built a universe of her own moving between singer-songwriter music and folk, with intimate, elegant and engaging pieces. Since her 2011 debut with The Cherry on My Cake, which was very well received by audiences and critics, her career has continued to grow with works including There's a Flower in My Bedroom, Lu-Pu-I-Pi-Sa-Pa —aimed at family audiences—, Luísa and Rosa, the latter produced by Raül Refree. She has also stood out as a songwriter for artists including Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Gisela João, Sara Correia and Mayra Andrade. However, you are very likely to know her as the author of Amar Pelos Dois, the song performed by her brother Salvador Sobral that won the Eurovision Song Contest.
