Maggie Cullen has become an essential reference for a new generation of artists approaching roots repertoire from a personal perspective. Her repertoire traces a musical map through fundamental works and authors of Argentine and Latin American culture, alongside her own compositions. She won the Gardel Award for Best Folk Album for her first album, Canciones del viento, and now presents her second CD, Décimas, produced by Popi Spatocco and featuring collaborations with Kevin Johansen, Raly Barrionuevo and others. In this new work, Cullen develops her role as a composer while revisiting some of the authors who influenced her as an artist.
