Show title: PROU. Pop-rock - Barcelona. Some say this 20-year-old Catalan artist and producer from Barcelona has established herself as one of the most distinctive and promising voices on the country's new music scene; others say the same thing more simply: Maig is the new pop diva. Her debut EP La Flor de Maig has been followed by her first album, PROU, confirming an evolution in her sound: no minimalist electronica, but sharp guitars and organic drums. It may bring to mind rock from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, filtered through the artist's young and emotional perspective. Live, she is joined by Sara on drums, Gela and Grabu, in a band format designed to shake the stage.
