Malú is one of the most important, best-loved and most recognised female voices in 21st-century Spanish music. Since releasing her debut album Aprendiz at just sixteen —certified triple platinum with more than 300,000 copies sold— she has established herself as one of the country's best-selling artists. Born into a family of great musicians, María Lucía Sánchez's talent extends far beyond the recording studio. Malú stands out for her artistic versatility and ability to connect with audiences, making her a reference point both on stage and in audiovisual and advertising work. Over a 25-year career, she has earned sixteen platinum and six gold album certifications. Her songs have accumulated more than 600 million streams on platforms such as YouTube. Alongside public support, her career has been widely recognised by the industry, with fifteen Premios Dial, five Premios 40 Principales, six World Music Awards nominations and four Premios Cadena 100.
