'Maps and Memory. Mapping Collserola' Workshop *NEW*

This workshop offers a first introduction to cartography through a nearby area: the Collserola range. Throughout the sessions, we will combine map reading with a historical perspective to understand how the landscape has changed and how it has been represented over time. We will work with old and current maps, learn to interpret them and identify key elements, relating cartographic information to the memory of the territory. A workshop for rediscovering our immediate surroundings and reflecting on the relationship between landscape, history and representation. Workshop leader: Àlex Visú.
