'María Terremoto' Concert

Show title: Manifiesto. Flamenco. Seville. Her real name is María Fernández Benítez, but, like her father and grandfather, she is known as Terremoto, a nickname for an extremely restless person. Both were legends of flamenco singing. And, as María Terremoto does now, they knew how to convey the force of tradition while continuing to seek new paths. In Manifiesto, the artist embarks on an emotional search with elements of both expiation and celebration, moving from romance to bulerías, all with lyrics that are as beautiful as they are sincere and an old, especially authentic sound. Ambition, an open mind and infectious energy are the defining traits of an artist whose verses are pure and simple, but never simplistic. «Camino y me siento firme / no voy a mirar atrás», she sings.
