Mayte Martín comes to the Teatre l'Aliança del Poblenou to present Tatuajes, a repertoire of songs travelling through flamenco, bolero and popular music with the sensibility of one of the most distinctive voices in music today. Winner of the 2024 Catalan National Culture Prize and the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts, the Barcelona-born cantaora has built an impeccable career marked by elegance, delicacy and an unmistakable way of performing. Over the years she has broken the rules of the market, collaborating with artists as varied as Tete Montoliu and the Labèque sisters, exploring different musical languages without ever losing her essence. On 17 December she takes the stage in quartet format — voice, piano, double bass and drums — for an intimate, moving concert of songs that have crossed generations. An essential date to enjoy, at close quarters, an artist who still turns every performance into a unique experience.
