"Metrika" Concert
6 March 2027 · 20:30
Sala Sant Jordi Club, el Poble-sec, Sants-Montjuïc
There is only one Metrika. However often Thais Amores, from Castellón, has used vampire imagery throughout her still short but intense career, the truth is that there is no fresher blood than hers anywhere on the Spanish urban scene. Metrika needs to sink her fangs into no one to breathe new life into a visual and musical universe so radical and incorruptible that it is on its way to becoming a genre in itself, beyond labels such as trap or reggaeton. Any sound is transformed when it falls into her hands. A hit on the scale of TOTO DE LOCA would have swallowed any other artist, but not her. Clearly not. In her case it is hard not to think that her biggest success so far is simply the tip of an enormous iceberg. Her artistic personality, many-sided yet entirely her own and unmistakable, guarantees that exciting and unexpected things will keep happening around her. Starting with La Orden, her next album, about which more details will be revealed soon. Metrika will present La Orden on 6 March at the Sant Jordi Club.
