A sensory experience across different musical registers and styles. Miralls is a show of great musical and aesthetic sensitivity that takes children on a symbolic journey from discovering the self to experimenting with the elements of nature. From encountering the differences of others to realising that together we are all part of the same whole. Through dance and a very carefully chosen selection of music, Miralls offers young audiences a sensory experience of connection and closeness. Contrasting sounds such as electric guitar and saxophone or clarinet alongside a classical voice converse very naturally, shifting operatic pieces into other registers and styles. Miralls aims to win children over from a space of delicacy, beauty and calm. A much-needed show in a fast-paced world full of stimuli.
