'Mist and Stone: Origins of the British Isles' Workshop *NEW*

29 September 2026 – 1 December 2026 · 17:00

Centre Cívic Urgell, la Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, Eixample

We will delve into the origins of the British Isles, when England did not yet exist and borders were drawn with mist and stone. Through archaeological remains, Celtic myths and medieval chronicles, we will explore links between the ancient peoples of Britain, Ireland and Scotland: druids and kings, invaders and visionaries. From Celtic migrations and the arrival of Rome to the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and Gaelic resistance, this course is a journey to the symbolic roots of British identity, where memory, legend and identity are woven into a single tapestry. Teacher: Pep Rueda Sabala.
