'Monasteries of Catalonia and the Crown of Aragon' Cultural Workshop *NEW*

Teacher: Damià Amorós. We will discover Catalonia's major monastic complexes from a different perspective, tracing their history from the expansion of the Benedictine and Cistercian orders to more contemporary forms of religious life. We will also analyse key episodes that have shaped this heritage, such as the confiscation of church lands, the Tragic Week and the Spanish Civil War.
