Giadda (Mataró) is a Uruguayan-Catalan artist who combines the sensitivity of alternative music with the energy of urban rhythms, exploring territory that runs from dancehall to modern trap. Trained in piano and singing from an early age, her path grew out of beginnings closely tied to the gospel choirs of her city and has evolved into a world of her own where her roots coexist with the new currents of today's music scene. Her work stands out for an intimate, experimental and emotional sound, shaped through songs such as *NATGES*, PRÉSSEC*, Això q imagines*, RADAR* and her first EP, Tornar a partir*. Giadda constantly draws on influences from artists such as Juicy Bae, Rosalía, Bad Gyal and the legendary Jaime Roos, to whom she often pays tribute through references and musical elements connecting with her Uruguayan roots. Alongside her solo project, she also works with sankki as Giadda & sankki, creating fresh, emotional urban pop in Catalan with tracks such as UNA NENA COM TU*. With her catchy melodies and her ability to combine intimacy and rhythm, Giadda is establishing herself as one of the most interesting emerging voices on the Catalan and Spanish underground scene.
