Human beings live alongside music all the time: it gives us pleasure, brings back memories and lets us share emotions. But what happens in our brain when we listen to music? This session takes a look at the neuroworld of music: from how it can shape our mood, reduce stress or stimulate key areas of the brain, to how it interacts with neural networks and what practical applications it may have in education and our well-being. With Mireia Ortega, biologist, with a degree in biochemistry and a PhD in biomedicine. Part of the Festival Simfonies de Ciència.
