"Muy Interesante" Lecture

Science Fest Barcelona is a major science communication event organised by Muy Interesante, bringing some of the country's leading scientists and science communicators together at the Teatre Coliseum. Through short, lively and inspiring talks, the audience will discover the latest advances in fields such as palaeontology, genetics, mathematics, neuroscience, astrophysics, quantum physics, oceanography and Egyptology, bringing cutting-edge science closer in a rigorous, accessible and entertaining way. The day will close with the Marie Curie Awards, recognising six women scientists for their outstanding contribution to the advancement of knowledge and for their work inspiring new generations. In this edition the awards have been exclusively designed, drawing on two of Barcelona's great symbols: Modernista trencadís and the Sagrada Família. Science Fest Barcelona was created to turn science into a cultural experience open to all audiences, encouraging critical thinking, knowledge and encounters between researchers, institutions, businesses and society.
