Is disinfecting everything always better? Should clothes be washed with antibacterial products? Do antibiotics cure colds? This session will dismantle common myths about hygiene, infections and antibiotics that circulate on social media and in everyday life. It will examine household practices such as managing the medicine cabinet, excessive use of disinfectants, antibacterial household products and false beliefs about infection prevention, involving the public in distinguishing reliable information from misinformation and adopting effective habits.
