'Nacho Vegas' Concert
25 September 2026 · 21:30
Teatre Grec, el Poble-sec, Sants-Montjuïc
Show title: Vidas semipreciosas. Independent rock / independent folk - Gijón. The intimate and the political are almost inseparable in the music of Nacho Vegas, a singer-songwriter who, as well as being committed to progressive causes, has for many years been one of the leading figures in independent music made in Spanish —or Asturian—. On the new album he presents at La Mercè, Vidas semipreciosas, he remains faithful to honesty, commitment and lyrics that can sometimes be sharp enough to hurt, all delivered through a deeply personal and recognisable voice. Melodic at times, often melancholic and sometimes embracing traditional folk-like sounds without resorting to clichés, the artist devotes songs both to controversial court cases and to his mother and his roots. A legend of Spanish-language independent music at Teatre Grec. Attendance will be taken. Limited-capacity concert. Access to the venue will not be permitted once the authorised capacity has been reached.
Part of the programme: Mercè 2026. 103 activities in Barcelona, from September 23 to September 27. All free.
