'Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí (1891-1981). Lliçons de paisatge' Exhibition

The exhibition invites visitors to discover the work and thought of Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí, an architect and landscape designer who played a key role in Barcelona's recent transformation. The route is structured through a set of “lessons” highlighting his critical perspective, artistic sensitivity and commitment to the city. Each section of the exhibition is built around a “lesson”, reinforced by a title taken from Rubió's writings and reflections. These quotations serve as a guide and interpretive key to each room's content, as well as to Rubió's multifaceted activity. Themes include the issue of open spaces in Barcelona, the garden as a work of art, the practice of the Latin garden, architectural criticism and even notes from journeys made by the Catalan architect and landscape designer. The exhibition has a public programme. Organisers: Josep Mascaró, Montse Rivero, Víctor Díaz-Asensio García, Marina Cervera and Enric Batlle.
