"NUCLEUS" Concert, with "Filippa Gojo & Stephan Mattner"
17 November 2026 · 19:00
Goethe-Institut Barcelona, la Dreta de l'Eixample, Eixample
On 17 November at 7 pm we welcome the Cologne duo formed by the singer Filippa Gojo and the saxophonist Stephan Mattner, who come to Barcelona to present NUCLEUS, an extraordinary sound concept that fuses voice, soprano saxophone, electronics and live effects. In their music they combine acoustic and electronic soundscapes and explore the boundaries between improvisation, composition and sound design. Both musicians have been part of the German jazz and improvisation scene for many years: Filippa Gojo is a multi-award-winning singer and jazz voice teacher in Nuremberg, while Stephan Mattner is a much sought-after saxophonist, composer and university lecturer. Together they create multi-layered soundscapes in which acoustic and electronic elements merge into a concert experience that is as experimental as it is atmospheric.
