'Old Masters: Women from the Medieval Workshop to the Baroque Canon' Cultural Workshop *NEW*

Teacher: Lucía Aranda. We will delve into art history from a female perspective to discover artists who worked between the Middle Ages and the Baroque and who have often been left out of the traditional narrative. Through figures such as Ende, Sofonisba Anguissola, Artemisia Gentileschi and Clara Peeters, we will explore their works and careers and understand how art history is constructed —and can be rewritten— beyond the great geniuses. A proposal for looking at art with new eyes and recovering essential names, perspectives and stories.
