Orquestra Simfònica Tekhné Isabel Cachón, leader Josep Miquel Mindán, conductor Soundscapes laid bare: the musical fabric of the Pastoral The Simfònica Tekhné offers a concert in which music is revealed as an impressive piece of construction in real time. As the 200th anniversary of the death of Ludwig van Beethoven approaches, this symphonic show uncovers his work as a musical architect in his Symphony No. 6, known as the Pastoral. The German composer had established the modern symphony in his earlier works, an evolution from the symphonies of Haydn and Mozart towards grandeur and the expression of emotion, conceived for large concert halls. In the Pastoral Symphony, Beethoven acted as an avant-garde architect, breaking with the four-movement structure that is the foundation of a symphony and moving to a five-movement structure, giving each movement a title of its own. Together we will read the blueprints of classical music so that Beethoven can convey to us the feelings nature awoke in him
