Opening Guided Tour of the Exhibition 'Atrapa sons' with Núria Rovira Terradas

To mark the opening of the exhibition Atrapa sons, you are invited to take part in a guided tour led by artist Núria Rovira Terradas, who will offer a commentary on this sound and visual installation created during the Eufònic / Lo Pati 2025 residency. The visit will explore the research and creative process behind the work, which takes as its starting point the bussó, a traditional trap used to catch eels in the Delta de l'Ebre. Through sound recordings made at the Balada quay and an installation transforming this fishing object into an immersive space, the artist invites us to listen to the river's night-time breathing and reflect on the fragility of delta ecosystems. Atrapa sons proposes an experience based on attentive listening, silence and care. The sounds, vibrations and images inhabiting the inside of the bussó evoke a vulnerable territory that continues to breathe despite the transformations and threats affecting it. Like fishers when they speak of "no fer tropell", the work invites us to approach the Delta with respect, sensitivity and awareness.
