Performative, Interactive and Participatory Conference "Is My Lipstick a Semiconductor?"

Is My Lipstick a Semiconductor? is a performance lecture and sound installation exploring the relationships between cosmetics, toxic metals and electronic technologies through lipsticks turned into sonic objects by means of electrical experiments and Morse-code transmissions. The project reflects on the materiality of technology, violence and gender imaginaries from a critical and participatory perspective. Ioana Vreme Moser develops a practice focused on experimental electronics, speculative research and the materialities of sound, with works presented in international contexts including Ars Electronica, Rewire Fes'val and Akademie der Künste Berlin. Led by Iona Vreme Moser.
